Welcome
WELCOME TO OUR SPRING 09 ISSUE!
We are busily, happily, enthusiastically creating our new issue. We want your work to reflect our College community–a lively, rowdy, intelligent, articulate, hip and contemplative blend of people who find themselves on the same sun-soaked campus most days of the week.
Times are a’changing. In politics, in art, in journalism, in i-pods, in science, technology, and the economy. We’re going to face these changes head-on, armed with the confidence and inquiry that a good education may give us. We want to banish the worn out ideas and replace them with shaky new theories, which then we will prove to be true or untrue. We’ll text, email, phone (!!!) and even write them to each other. One day we will just “think” them to each other, so advanced will be our brainwave capacities.
But with all that changes, some things remain the same. We still feel, and we still express those feelings. As long as those inclinations exist, journals like BLUEPRINTZINE will accommodate them.
For now, we shall sign off and open our hearts, minds, and mailboxes to your creativity.
